Cops Search for 2 Men on Jersey Crime Spree

Police suspect two men committed a stabbing, a carjacking and bullying of an elderly woman in three N.J. towns within hours

Police in Camden County have released sketches of two men who have been leading a violent crime spree in three South Jersey towns.

The crimes happened in neighboring towns within hours of each other.

One of the crimes was the stabbing of a 49-year-old woman near the PATCO station in Cherry Hill Sunday night, police say. Two men were caught on surveillance camera following the woman from the train station’s parking lot.

Police believe the men possibly used an ice pick to stab the woman through her upper arm and into her chest. She has been hospitalized ever since.

Not long after, two men that match the same description held a victim at gunpoint before stealing a car in Lawnside, N.J.

After the carjacking in Lawnside, the suspects drove the stolen car to Mount Ephraim and boxed an elderly lady into a dead-end street.  One of the men used his weapon to tap on the glass of the elderly woman’s car. She threw cash out of her window and the suspects fled, police say.

The victim from the first attack has yet to see the sketches, but police are hoping she will be able to tie all three incidents together.
