Police are still searching for a second suspect in the connection with the March robbery.

Police arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of a jewelry store in Manayunk.

Raheem Hankerson turned himself in to police on April 5 after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police say that Hankerson and another male, both wearing wigs, robbed the A.I. Poland Jewelry Store located on Main Street at gunpoint just before 11 a.m. on March 29.

Officials say that owner Victor Ostroff and a store saleswoman were pistol-whipped and tied up during the robbery.

The men stole approximately $100,000 worth of jewels and the owner’s gun, according to authorities.
