A 32-year-old former color guard instructor at Reading Senior High School is facing charges after she allegedly had an affair with an underage student that last months, according to police.

Jennifer Wolfe was arrested Thursday following an investigation into sex abuse claims,

Police say that a 17-year-old band member was sexually assaulted by Wolfe from October 2011 through April of the following year.

Wolfe and the student spoke on the phone before they began meeting up, according to a press release sent by the Berks County District Attorney's Office.

Investigators say the woman would pick the boy up and they would go to her house in Wernersville. Police also say she supplied the teen with whiskey and coke and then had sex with him.

Wolfe was the color guard instructor at Reading High from 2011 to 2013.

The district has clearances on file for Ms. Wolfe that show no record of incident.

District staff learned of the allegations in October 2013 and initiated the investigation by immediately notifying Berks County Children and Youth Services. The district also immediately discontinued her service.
