Coach Accused of Making False Accusations of Sexual Misconduct

A former suburban Philadelphia high school lacrosse coach has pleaded no contest to allegations that he made false accusations of sexual misconduct against two other coaches at the school.

Former Lansdale Catholic High School coach Timothy Udinski entered the plea Friday in Montgomery County Court to charges of stalking and harassment.

Under a no contest plea, a person doesn't admit guilt but acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence for a conviction.

Authorities alleged that Udinski was upset about losing his job and targeted his successor and another coach in anonymous emails to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia last summer.

Prosecutors said they hadn't decided whether to seek jail time. Officials said Udinski himself was once the target of false accusations.
