"Clyde" Joins Bonnie in the Big House

25 year-old Edward Anderton headed into Federal court Friday afternoon, before he was sentenced to four years in prison. Anderton and his girlfriend, 23 year-old Jocelyn Kirsch have both pleaded guilty. They admit stealing ID?s and defrauding neighbors and friends of more than 100 thousand dollars. In October, the Bonnie half of the duo, Kirsch, was given five years in prison and told to pay 100-thousand dollars in restitution.

"Clyde" will join "Bonnie" in the big house.  Philly's most infamous and arguably sexiest criminals of late were nicknamed the Bonnie and Clyde of ID Theft.  Friday, "Clyde” came face-to-face with justice.
 
"Clyde" is 25-year-old Edward Anderton. He got sentenced to four years in prison at federal court in Philadelphia, Pa and he must pay $101,033 in restitution as soon as he gets out of prison.
   
Anderton and his 23-year-old former girlfriend, Jocelyn Kirsch, defrauded neighbors of more than $100,000, according to authorities.

Anderton and co-defendant Jocelyn Kirsch stole identity information, credit cards and credit card account info from numerous victims, including friends, co-workers, neighbors, fellow students, bar patrons and others, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.

The duo used computer spy ware, fake IDs and other technologies to carry out their elaborate crime spree for about a year starting in November 2006.

The couple used the money they swindled for lavish vacations, clothes and nights out on the town.

Anderton will serve his time at a federal facility near in Washington so that he is near family. He has 45 days to surrender and begin serving his time.

Last month, Kirsch was sentenced to five years in federal prison.
