If you’ve noticed your Wi-Fi speed has slowed down since putting up your holiday lights, you’re not imagining things!

Communications experts say your Christmas lights can cause electrical interference and interrupt your Wi-Fi signal strength.

However, it might not just be your holiday display slowing things up.

The same experts say electrical interference can also come from lamps, microwaves, baby monitors and cordless phones.

So while you get to enjoy your Christmas light display, you also have to deal with slow Wi-Fi.
