Christie Remains Undefeated in His Veto History

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie remains undefeated when it comes to vetoes.

The Democratic-controlled state Senate on Thursday failed to override Christie's veto of a pension bill that would have required quarterly payments to the state's public pension system.

Christie angered Democrats when he cut the state's payments to the fund earlier this year amid a worsening budget outlook. Christie said the state didn't have the money.

Trustees of the state's largest pension funds and public employee unions are suing to force Christie to honor his promise to make full pension fund contributions.
