New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is taking his tax-cutting plan to a national audience -- and a local one.
A day after calling for a 10 percent income tax cut for all New Jersey taxpayers, Christie is scheduled to appear live Wednesday on NBC, MSNBC and NPR.
He's also doing some New Jersey-oriented radio interviews and speaking in-person to the public at a town hall meeting in the Camden County community of Voorhees.
In his speech Tuesday, the first-term Republican governor pointed to other states where there are proposals to raise taxes.
But Democratic lawmakers are rallying against the tax cuts, saying high-income people would get most of the benefit and that school budgets could suffer to pay for them.
