Christians Hope Prayer Can Stop Proposed Strip Club

The church group has planned a prayer vigil at the site of the proposed club

A church group is planning to hold a prayer vigil this weekend at the site of a proposed strip club in York County.

The York Daily Record reports the Rev. Daniel Warner and others plan to hold the vigil at the Brogue Center strip mall on Sunday afternoon.

A zoning board is scheduled to hold a hearing on the project May 23.

Watner says he and other Christians are hoping to stop the project.

Developers say the 148-seat club would not be a nuisance to the rural township and would bring lots of jobs.
