Chinese Food Delivery Person Robbed

Three men assaulted and robbed a Chinese food delivery person Friday night, said police.

New Castle County Police officers responded to a report of a robbery on the 100 block of Freedom Trail at 10:20 p.m. The victim told police that he knocked on the door where he was supposed to deliver food but received no answer.

Three black men, two of them carrying baseball bats and wearing masks, then approached him. They took money and property and then assaulted him before fleeing.

One of the men was described as 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, with short hair and a thin build, dark skin. He was wearing a black jacket and gray baseball cap. One of the men wearing a mask was 6-foot, 175 pounds with light skin and an average build. The other man wearing a mask was 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with light skin and wore a black jacket and white T-shirt.
