A young boy is recovering a day after he was shot in the leg in Chester County.
Family members say 8-year-old AJ Hagner was riding his bike with a friend on Friday, around 5 p.m. along the Unit Block of W. Main Street in North Coventry Township, Pa.
As Hagner passed the Pottstown Dance Theatre, investigators say an unidentified gunman opened fire, striking the boy in the leg.
The boy was flown by medical helicopter to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he is currently in stable condition.
Police took two guns from the home of a man who lived along the street. But he has not been implicated in the shooting.
