Death of Center City Man Ruled a Homicide

A 65-year-old Center City man's death was ruled a homicide by investigators Monday morning.

Lee Stanley was found dead on the first floor of his home on the 100-block of Mole Street last Friday afternoon by three men who were hired to work at his residence, according to police.

Investigators immediately deemed the death suspicious, although the home showed no signs of forced entry.

On Monday, police revealed the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the chest.

Neighbors say Stanley was a nice man who's lived in his Mole Street home for many years.

Anyone with information of the crime is urged to call Philadelphia Police.
