It happened Sunday night in the Walgreen’s parking lot on the 2300 block of Oregon Avenue.

Caught on Cam: Gunman Shoots Man in Front of Son

Police released surveillance video of a gunman shooting a man in front of his son.
It happened Sunday night in the Walgreens parking lot on the 2300 block of Oregon Avenue. Investigators say a 45-year-old man and his 5-year-old son were inside a car.

Suddenly, police say, a man pulled up in a car, got out, pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the victim. The man was struck several times however the child was not injured. Police say the gunman then entered his car and fled the scene. Police also say there may have been a second man inside the vehicle.

The man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Police have not yet revealed his condition.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2 and weighing 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, Gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans. They also believe he was driving a dark Gray Ford sedan, possibly a Taurus or Fusion, with a partial tag of FSH-456.
