Police are searching for a man caught on camera burglarizing two local restaurants.
The first burglary happened Monday at 1:30 a.m. at the Bunh Mi Viet French Restaurant on 330 Oregon Avenue. Police say the suspect entered the restaurant, opened the cash register and safe, stealing around $3500 in cash.
The second burglary happened Wednesday at 12:10 a.m. at the Pho Ha Saigon Restaurant on 320 Oregon Avenue. Surveillance video captured the suspect prying the door of the restaurant open. Police say he stole $200 in cash. He also tried to pry open the safe but was unable to do so, according to investigators.
The suspect is described as a thin, clean-shaven Asian male with black hair. Police say he was wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt with the words βLincoln 2003β on the front and a tan baseball cap with a white logo in the first burglary. In the second police say he was wearing a light shirt, light pants and black sneakers.
