Police are searching for two women accused of stealing a dog outside a store in the Mayfair section of the city.
A woman told police she was inside a store on the 6400 block of Frankford Avenue around 9:40 p.m. on October 11 when someone stole her Pug dog that was tied to an outside gate.
Philadelphia Police released surveillance video of two women untying the dog and walking away with it.
The first suspect is described as a woman between the ages of 20 and 30 standing 5-foot-6 with light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath a dark hooded jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.
The second suspect is described as a woman wearing a light-colored jacket and pants.
