Caregiver Gets 25 Years for Killing With Cane

Yolanda Steele, 34, was sentenced to 25 years in jail for beating an 82-year-old man -- under her care -- to death with his cane.

The Camden woman pled guilty last month to aggravated manslaughter.

On December 11, 2007, Sidney Wenof questioned his caregiver after discovering that his accounts were missing money and his credit cards had been used without his consent.

Steele then grabbed the elderly man's cane and hit him with it.

Wenof was rushed to the hospital where he died eight days later.
