Three men are in custody after police say they were caught taking tires off of parked cars.
It happened early Wednesday morning on Glendale Avenue and Shisler Street in the Rhawnhurst section of the city.
Police say they caught the men in the act and briefly chased them before apprehending them. Investigators say the suspects were not slashing tires but instead trying to steal them. No word yet on their identities or the specific charges against them.
