Car That Left Man Dying in Mom's Arms Found: Police

Black Audi that police say killed Bucks County man has been found, but because it was recently sold police have yet to find the current owner

Police in Bucks County say they have found the car they believe struck and killed a man over the weekend - but they are still looking for the driver.

Bristol Township Police found a black Audi they say killed 36-year-old Eric Beck early Sunday. They found the Audi at a storage company in Fairless Hills Sunday night, police say.

Police say the vehicle has damage to the front, end and windshield. The driver’s side mirror was torn off, police say.

The older-model Audi was recently sold to someone, but the title has not been filed and so does not reflect the new owner. There is a Fraternal Order of Police sticker on the back of the car, authorities say.

Beck, a Levittown man, had been celebrating with his brothers at a local pub Saturday night and was walking to a nearby store in Bristol Township to meet his mother for a ride home a little after midnight Sunday when he was struck.

Beck’s mother, Michelle Beck, found her son in the road and held him as he died. There was no driver to be seen.

"I was rubbing his hair and I touched him," Michelle Beck told NBC10. "I said 'Eric,' and he said 'Mom, squeeze my hand.' That was it, that's all he said to me."

No arrests have been reported in the case. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call (267) 812-3096.
