3 Teens Seriously Hurt in Northeast Philly Car Crash

Three teenagers suffered serious injuries after a car crash in Northeast Philadelphia late Wednesday afternoon.

A 17-year-old boy and two 15-year-old boys were inside a vehicle traveling on the 2800 block of Charter Road at 4:09 p.m. when they collided with another car, police said.

All three teens were taken to Aria Torresdale. The 17-year-old boy was treated and released. The two 15-year-old boys were transferred to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and are currently in critical condition.

Police say the driver of the other car suffered a minor injury but is not seeking any medical assistance.

Police continue to investigate the accident.
