Car Collides With School Bus in Hunting Park

A car and a school bus collided along a busy roadway in North Philadelphia on Thursday.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. along the Roosevelt Boulevard at 9th Street in the city's Hunting Park section, police tell NBC10.

A black sedan hit the rear driver's side of the bus, becoming wedged underneath from the impact.

The car's driver was taken to a nearby hospital, police said. Their condition is unknown.

There were no children on the school bus and the driver tells NBC10 that she was not hurt.

Police are investigating the crash and some lanes on both roads were closed as a result.
