Camden Warehouse Fire Under Control

A 3-alarm fire in Camden that destroyed a vacant warehouse Saturday is now under control.

The fire broke out at the vacant building at South 6th Liberty Streets around 6 a.m.

There are no reports of any injures and no word yet on what started the blaze. Camden had a string of suspicious warehouse fires last month.

The American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania says it is helping some residents in Lansdale whose homes were damaged by storms that cut power to thousands of people.

The Red Cross says it is helping up to eight families at a damaged apartment building who were displaced. The organization says it is checking whether others need help from Friday night's storms.
