Camden Parking Passes for Papal Pilgrims Now on Sale

Officials in Camden are reminding people that they will need to buy passes to park in the city for the pope's visit.

About 8,500 parking spots on the city's waterfront will be available for those heading to Pope Francis' visit Saturday and Sunday.

But to park there, pilgrims need to pay in advance.

Parking is about $44 per day for Saturday and Sunday, and cars cannot be left in the lots overnight. Drivers who do not have passes will not be allowed past a certain point in Camden.

From the waterfront lots, people can take a ferry, train or walk over the Ben Franklin Bridge to see the papal events.

The passes are available here.
