    Bullet holes in the front door marks the scene where a young Camden mother was shot in the neck.

    Gunshots rang out around 2 a.m. Thursday along the 700 block of Teal Court in the Liberty Park Townhomes development in Camden, New Jersey.

    A bullet struck the woman in the neck. Medics rushed her to Cooper University Hospital. Investigators said they expect her to recover.

    Camden County Police investigators said they weren’t sure if the victim, a woman in her 20s, was the intended target or not.

    Detectives remained on the scene throughout the early morning hours sorting through evidence including three visible bullet holes and a discarded flip flop.

    Neighbors said the victim recently moved in and could be seen out front of her home as her son rode his bike.
