A Texas man who survived a house fire that killed three people a dozen years ago in South Jersey is facing charges in the arson.
The Courier-Post reports authorities said Thursday 30-year-old Jesus Perez-Rivera was charged with felony murder in the deaths of 32-year-old Luis Silva, his 29-year-old wife, Maria, and her 6-year-old son, Carlos Cruz.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said the Killeen, Texas, man moved from Camden to Puerto Rico with his family shortly after the July 2004 fire along N 22nd Street.
Perez-Rivera was taken into custody by the Killeen Police Department and was held in Texas while awaiting extradition.
