Caddy Crashes Into Building, Driver Dies

This is the scene of a tragic accident on Broad Street this morning. A man crashed into a building killing himself and critically injuring his passenger.

Just before 1 a.m., a Cadillac CTS crashed into a building on Broad Street killing the male driver and critically injuring his female passenger.
Police say that the car was traveling South on Broad when the driver lost control and crashed into a brick building on the 2500 block near the intersection of Huntingdon Avenue.
The 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene (his name has not yet been released).
The passenger was taken to Temple University Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
