Two men went on a joyride after carjacking a taxi driver overnight, according to Philadelphia Police.

The suspects, both wearing black, approached the Germantown Cab company taxi at N 6th Street and W Allegheny Avenue in North Philadelphia a little before 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.

Both men were armed when they demanded the cabbie hand over money, said investigators. The men then pushed the taxi driver out of the car and drove off.

Police caught up to the carjacked cab along the 3700 block of Percy Street -- that’s less than one mile away -- where the taxi stopped on the sidewalk.

Officers nabbed both unidentified suspects and recovered guns from a nearby porch.

    The cabdriver wasn’t hurt.
