Caught on Cam: Brutal Assault Outside Restaurant in Northeast Philly

A 52-year-old man received several stitches after a violent attack outside a Northeast Philadelphia restaurant that was caught on camera.

The attack happened about 7:30 p.m. on October 3 in the city’s Bustleton neighborhood.

The victim was standing in front of Benny The Bum’s restaurant when an unknown male and female approached him.

When the female suspect pointed at the victim, the male suspect violently punched the victim in the head, knocking him to the ground.

While the victim was on the ground, the male suspect continued to kick and punch him.

Both suspects then ran from the scene.

The victim was taken to Aria Health Torresdale Hospital where he received five staples on his head.
