Busted for Phony Bills

Duo charged with passing fake money

A pair of women have been busted for allegedly trying to pass phony $100 bills at the Vanity Fair Outlets in Wyomissing, Pa.

Lucas Fransesco-Capellan, 33, and Sandra Monta-Matos, 36, both from Philadelphia were arrested for passing counterfeit $100.00 bills, according to Wyomissing Borough Police.

The duo were caught dropping faux $100.00 bills in several stores at Vanity Fair. Police found about $3,000 in fake Benjamins on the two women, according to police.

The Wyomissing PD praised employees at Vanity Fair for stopping this duo before the women could have the chance to pass more fake bills in the area.

Both women are in custody on $100,000 real cash bail.

The U.S. Secret Service is assisting Wyomissing Police with the investigation.
