Pennsylvania Farm to Provide White House Christmas Tree

We're just a month away from Halloween, so naturally, Christmas news is already arriving. The National Christmas Tree Association (NCTA) announced Friday that the White House's official Christmas tree will be chosen from a farm in eastern Pennsylvania.

Glenn and Jay Bustard of Bustard's Christmas Trees in Lehighton, Pennsylvania were chosen as the winners of the NCTA's national tree contest and will be supplying Washington D.C. with the annual tree this holiday season.

The Bustard family will present the tree to the White House in November or December, but the tree will be chosen on Wednesday, September 30, at the farm just north of Allentown.

The tree will be displayed in the Blue Room of the White House throughout the winter season. Since 1966, winners of the NCTA's contest have supplied the White House with the official Christmas Tree.
