Lawn Worker Hit in Bus-Car Crash

A man who was mowing the lawn was hit after a school bus and car crashed, head-on in Lindenwold, Camden County, New Jersey this afternoon.

The victim was cutting the grass at Arlong Automotive on Blackwood-Clementon Road when the accident happened.

According to Detective Christopher Sherrer, when the bus and car collided, that sent the car spinning up onto the grass and into the lawn worker.

The woman driving the car was hurt too.

She was trapped inside her car and had to be cut out by rescuers.

Both victims were taken to Cooper Hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.

The accident happened around 1:15 p.m. along the 300 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road.

The road was shut down between Laurel Road and Branch Avenue for about three hours.
