Police are on the hunt for burglars who they say targeted three Northeast Philadelphia homes on Monday.
The first incident was captured on surveillance video. At 6:15 p.m., police say two men broke into a rear door of a home on the 9200 block of Masland Street. The first suspect is caught on video loitering at the front door of the home for several minutes before the second suspect joins him. Both men are then seen going into the back of the property. The first suspect is seen scaling a fence and forcing his way inside the property. The second suspect is seen standing outside the fence acting as a lookout.
After forcing the door open, police say the suspects set off a burglary alarm and fled before they could take anything.

Police believe the two men then targeted a home on the 1000 block of Grant Avenue but were scared off by a neighbor. Finally, police say the suspects broke into a home on the 8400 block of Algon Avenue where they stole jewelry, a firearm and electronics.
Police believe a third person worked with the two men. Investigators say a white van was spotted driving past the home on Masland Street several times just before the burglary. One suspect was seen talking on a cell phone continuously during the incident, indicating that another person, possibly in the white van, was involved, according to investigators. Police say the second suspect was also seen around 1 ½ hours before the first burglary with a third man. Police believe the two were casing the property.

The first suspect is described as a medium-built, light-skinned black male between the ages of 20 and 27 with a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark knit hat, Gray hooded sweatshirt with white draw strings and a small light-colored emblem on the chest, dark pants and dark shoes. The second suspect is described as a thin black male between the ages of 20 and 27. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and tan work boots. Police have not released a description of the third suspect.
