Out with the coffee, and in with the burgers. The duo behind SliCE pizza will be opening a burger joint in the East Passyunk Avenue neighborhood in a location that once housed a coffee shop.
P’unk Burger will open in November at 1823 East Passyunk Ave., in the location vacated by Chhaya Café, which moved just two doors down the street.
Owners Marlo and Jason Dilks, who operate pizzerias in South Philadelphia, Rittenhouse and Washington Township, said they chose the location due to the neighborhood’s need of shops that offer burgers, shakes and fries. Read full story here.
