Police are searching for the gunman who grazed a man in the head during a home invasion in the Crescentville section of the city.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. at a home on Garland Street. Police say a man between his late 20’s and early 30’s knocked at the door and forced his way inside when the 68-year-old homeowner opened the door. The two men began to scuffle and shots were fired, according to investigators. A bullet grazed the 68-year-old in the head and the gunman fled the scene.

The homeowner was taken to Einstein Hospital where he was treated and released. No arrests have been made. Police continue to search for the suspect.
