Building at Temple U Evacuated Due to Chemical Spill

A building on Temple University’s campus was evacuated due to a hazmat situation.

A Temple spokesman says there was a chemical spill on the 4th floor of Beury Hall, located on 1901 North 13th Street.

The entire building was evacuated. Around 7 p.m., everyone except those who were on the 4th floor, were allowed back inside.

Hazmat crews cleaned up the spill and the remaining students and staff were allowed back inside.
