GoFundMe Campaign Started For #1 Fan of High School in South Jersey

Bruce Jackson has always been there for the students and athletes of Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Now, those affiliated with the school want to return the favor and help out the school’s "#1 fan."

Jackson has Cerebral Palsy and needs a wheelchair, which has an alphabet keyboard attached to it, to get around.

It is Jackson’s daily routine to visit the students and faculty at Eastern Regional High.

According to Gary Worthington, a teacher at Eastern, Jackson “can be seen on his wheelchair on every athletic field, court, stage and at every practice, game, rehearsal rain or shine.”

Unfortunately, Jackson’s wheelchair is breaking down and the limited financial assistance he receives does not cover repair costs.

Without his chair, Worthington wrote that Jackson would be confined to his bed at the Voorhees Rehabilitation facility and Worthington doesn’t want to see that happen.

So, Worthington created a GoFundMe page for Jackson and is calling on the Eastern Regional High School community to turn the dream of a new wheelchair for Jackson into a reality.
