Boy in Critical After Being Struck by Vehicle: Cops

The boy was briefly trapped under the vehicle before emergency crews were able to pull him out.

A young boy is fighting for his life after an accident in North Philadelphia.

Police say the 10-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle at 28th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue. The boy was briefly trapped under the vehicle before emergency crews were able to pull him out. He was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police also say the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene. They continue to investigate.
