Boy Brings Loaded Gun to School: Cops

It happened at LB Morris Elementary School in Jim Thorpe, Pa.

An 11-year-old boy is charged with Juvenile Probation after police say he brought a loaded gun to school.

Police arrived at LB Morris Elementary School in Jim Thorpe, Pa. last Thursday after receiving a report of a student having a weapon on school property, according to WFMZ.

WFMZ reports police were informed the boy showed several students a fully loaded semi-automatic handgun earlier in the week.

During an interview with the child in front of his parents, police say the boy told them he had been bullied by another student. They also say the boy told them he had a pocket knife in his possession, according to WFMZ. 

The boy is charged through Juvenile Probation with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a weapon on school property.
