Police say a 12-year-boy was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Kingsessing tonight.
Investigators say the boy was riding his bike along the 5100 block of Kingsessing Avenue around 7:45 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver left the scene, police say.
The young victim suffered a broken arm and leg. He was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Police are investigating the incident.
