The bomb squad was called to the scene after a suspicious device was found under a car in the Wynnefield Heights section of Philadelphia.

It happened Wednesday morning on the 3600 block of Conshohocken Avenue. Police say the owner of a black Volvo found a 2x2 black magnetic box stuck on the bottom of his vehicle. The owner alerted police and the bomb squad was called to the scene.

Chief Inspector Joe Sullivan tells NBC10 the device was a small box the size of a pack of cigarettes and that it was not explosive. The bomb squad found nothing hazardous and destroyed the device, according to Sullivan. Police have not yet confirmed what exactly the device was however.
