The Morrisville Municipal Authority announced that the boil water alert issued on October 3rd has been lifted.

A statement was released on Sunday at 4:30 saying that people in Morrisville, Lower Makefield and Falls Township may now use their water without restrictions.

Those residents were forced to boil their water for at least one minute or use bottled water. The problem was due to a cloudiness level in the water caused by flooding conditions in the Delaware River.

In their statement, the Municipal Authority apologized to everyone affected by the alert for the inconvenience.
