A boil water advisory, which was in effect Monday for Easton, Northampton County, has been lifted.
Residents were told to boil their water for one minute because of a filter problem, according to the Easton Suburban Water Authority.
Schools in the Easton Area School District will remain closed Monday, because of the boil water advisory.
The water advisory affected other communities in Northampton County, near Easton, including:
- Palmer Township
- Forks Township
- Bethlehem
- Williams Township
Also affected were:
- Glendon Borough
- West Easton
- Wilson Borough
- Lower Nazareth
