A surveying crew found the body of a woman who authorities say was murdered.
The crew found Lisa Armstrong’s body in the woods of a rural area a short distance from Route 206 near Medford Lakes Road in Tabernacle, Burlington County, N.J. around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The crew called police who came out to investigate. According to New Jersey State Police, Armstrong -- a 47-year-old who hailed from Trenton about 25 miles away -- was shot. Police said someone dumped her body with 24 hours of it being discovered.
Police didn’t release any further details into this ongoing investigation.
