A woman's body was found early Thursday on Fork Road, just off the Blackhorse Pike, in Egg Harbor Township.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office identifies the woman as 29-year-old Amber Swigert.
Police were tipped off after receiving a 911 call from a driver who saw the body on the side of the road.
Swigert's death is being investigated and police aren't saying whether they believe it's a homicide.
