Delware State Police are investigating a mysterious death Sunday morning.
Troopers were called to the Delaware Travel Plaza in New Castle at around 9 a.m. Sunday, where they found the body of a middle-aged man in the plaza's northern parking lot, just east of U.S. Route 13.
Investigators initially said that the man had been shot, but that was later withdrawn. Authorities have not confirmed a cause of death.
