Leister went missing around 5 p.m. on Feb. 4 from his home on West Woodland Drive in Pottstown. His vehicle, a 2011 Buick Lucerne, was also missing before officials found it in the Schuylkill River on Tuesday. Police say Leister had no known medical conditions but fell and struck his head on Feb. 3, the day before he went missing. While a neighbor checked on him he was not treated by a medical facility for his injury.

Police have not yet determined a cause of death. They continue to investigate.
