The daughter of billionaire Ronald Perelman is testifying in a New Jersey courtroom in a trial over her share of an inheritance from her grandfather's estate.
The Record newspaper reports Samantha Perelman on Monday testified she believes her grandfather, Robert Cohen, was manipulated by her uncle, James, and her grandfather's intentions were thwarted.
James Cohen's lawyers claim Samantha's father, Revlon chairman Ronald Perelman, is trying to get his hands on Hudson News. The company sold for more than $800 million in 2008.
Ronald Perelman was married to Robert Cohen's daughter, gossip columnist Claudia Cohen. Samantha was their only child. The couple divorced and Claudia Cohen later died of cancer.
