Police, FBI Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

Police and the FBI are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect of a bank robbery that took place Monday morning.

At approximately 11 a.m., a man entered the Beneficial Bank on 6401 Woodland Avenue, and displayed a demand note to a teller. The employee complied with the orders and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled north on 64th street on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion and black goatee standing 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a furry trim around the hood, khaki pants, black gloves, and white sneakers. He is considered armed and dangerous.
