Bank Robber Makes Off With Cash

A bank robber made off with cash after hitting a Northeast Philadelphia bank.

The Republic First Bank, at 7300 Frankford Avenue, was robbed at 2:12 p.m. Sunday.

A man in his 20's wearing a baseball cap and medical tape or bandage covering his nose left the bank with an unknown amount of money. The robber wore a red and white t-shirt and carried a book bag.

Authorities say that a dye pack was included with the money.
