Caught on Cam: Woman Crashes Into Parked Cars Outside AC Casino: Police

A woman was arrested after she was caught on camera driving into several parked cars outside an Atlantic City casino during the early morning hours of New Year’s Day, according to police.

Joanna Kostas, 39, of Mays Landing, New Jersey was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and unlawful taking of means of conveyance.

Police say Kostas entered an unoccupied car with the keys still in the ignition that was waiting in a valet lane to be parked at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino Friday at 3:05 a.m. Kostas attempted to drive away and struck four parked, unoccupied vehicles, police said. A witness captured the incident on video and posted it on Facebook.

Kostas was apprehended and taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
