A fire at a local IHOP restaurant has been ruled as arson.
It happened early Monday morning at the IHOP on 3400 Aramingo Avenue in Port Richmond.
Officials say someone smashed through the front door of the restaurant and sparked a fire inside the doorway. The fire triggered the alarm and the sprinklers put out the blaze.
No arrests have been made. No word on any suspects.
